Bob Barker narrates factory farming expose of pig cruelty in Minnesota

Iowa's new "Ag Gag" law, supported by GOP Gov. Terry Branstad, would punish the maker of the video below with up to a year in jail.

Minnesota has not yet outlawed "gestation crates"  — pens so small that sows, confined to them for virtually their entire lives, cannot even turn around. Iowa, a huge pork producer, hasn't banned the crates either, but has a new Ag Gag law, introduced in the Iowa House by antigay Iowa Rep. Anette Sweeney and quickly signed by GOP governor Branstad under which individuals working for organizations like Mercy for Animals can be jailed for exposing factory farming cruelty. These Iowa lawmakers voted for the law.
